Tonight

The misty cold breeze of the late autumn night,
reflects the hasty days of the dark.
Sleething through the lonely corners of the streets,
pawing its way in and out of your feet.
Slowly coveting the brightness of the sky,
into a darkened and cloudless night.
As you sit in the walkways of the starless sky,
the darkness pours over the light.

Like Candles we Burn

Like candles we burn
So easy we melt
By fires that concern
The end of what's felt.
These flames set ablaze
Combust without doubt
No pity, no gaze
At those in its bout.
The wrath of their heat
Convenes to decay
Short breaths of a fate
You wish to delay.
Ashes they will leave
Of dreams and past deeds
Debris all conceived
Consumed by fire's greed.

Catharsis (1994)

The colors of melting red
surpass the blinding sun's.
Coveting in its clasps
the swirling mass of dread.
Between the hiss of midnight air,
the howling gush of heart's dispair
Behind the nebulous space that's dark
the grieving of the stars.
A burning furnace of deepest breath
suspend the piercing cry.
Between the throbs of veins that flush
the culmination of ethereal end.

Lover's Talk (1994)

Convince me fool
With words so full
Of gentle sweets
Melodious treats.
If I can be
My rosy me
The can you be
The garden bee?
If you can slice
A fall in two
That will be nice
Tell me how to.
Clouds in the sky
So white and puffed
Marshmallow studs
I want them stuffed.
Climb if you can
The stars you see
Please get them down
And bring to me.
If every move
You do with glee
Then you can prove
Your love to me.

Don't be so cruel
My lovely dear
I am a fool
But I too fear.
I cannot be
The garden bee
But roses three
I can give thee.
To slice a fall
In two you say
Can't I just crawl
The fields all day?
Clouds in the sky
So white and puffed
For you I'll take
In picture shots.
The stars you see
I cannot climb
But stairs you see
Those I can climb.
I need not prove
Myself to you
But every move
My love will do.

Your Sweet and Gentle Smile

There's a sweetness in your smile
Like strawberries mixed with honey
That sends me to a state
So wholly chaste and pure
Delicate and uncharted
By whatever destinations
There may be in this earth
What could be behind it
I do not understand
All I know is that you lift me
To a place cathartic and blissful
To my ears and other senses.

Lemon

Water lemon, mixed with honey
Candy sweet and dandy
Gentle sweetness flows the senses
Brings down all my defenses.

Sweet Cherries

Smell sweet cherries on your bed
Lay down and feel the softness
Kiss my lashes and feel my warmth
And let's dance through the night.
Forget your worries and be light
Caress me in your arms tight
And close to your heart
Like the world would end
I feel the sweet taste
Of your lips on mine
As I feel you filled with life
And passion.....
Let it not end.

Strawberries

Sweet like candy, sweet like honey
Makes my mouth water thirsty
Want to eat as much and many
As the sun around allows my fancy.

Mixed with sweet dew of honey
Lemon tea and cherry
Then it glides the throat like candy
Lovely, gentle, sweet and dandy.

Time

Another closing day
To pass by with gay
Reminding us of age
That trap us like a cage.

Before I Leave

I have a wish before I leave
Dear hear me please
On my last eve
I do not wish my heart to grieve
But such intentions you will receive.

I will be far so far away
And you'll be here alone and stray
So I will now to you convey
My thoughts of you I long to say.

In poems of sorrow you don't belong
You are all that is happy and that is young
Your simple pout and simple song
Will keep me sane and always strong.

And now to you I impart
My heart and soul as I depart
And now to you I give my heart
My deepest love that will not part.

Escape (1994)

Walk with me through the day
Slowly let's be plain
Talk to me like it's May
Summer holiday.
Let us be what we are
Forget binds and bonds
Free your thoughts let them soar
To heavenly grounds.
Kiss my lashes, feel my lips
Sense me without touch
Dazzle me with simple quips
Tell me few but much.
When this ends my request
Grant it do not grieve
Let us part with these best
Memories unsieved.

Myriads of Colors (2004)

Like crimson colors around the room,
As they move you sing to a tune,
Of a melodical song, that frees the mind
To an elemental fire.
Brash youth on your toes and feet soaring you high
To dreams that you seek
Easy to the eye
May they all come true
Like the morning dew
To a fresh start, that's new.

Dance in Silence (1994)

Dance with me through the night,
Let all our moves be glides.
Flavored grace with delight,
That clusters us inside.
Gently slip your fingers slow,
Through my waiting palms.
And your touch thus lingers on,
Like all soothing balms.
Pull me close, feel my warmth,
Let me hear you breathe.
Lift and drift me with your charms,
To sweetest scents my sheath.
Caress me in your arms,
Like a cloak cover me.
Be my shield from the harms
Of the night, bind me free.
Rest your cheek onto mine,
Silken skin let me feel.
Your smoothness so divine,
Intoxicates me real.
Through this night lock me in
Every stare with essence
Search my eyes what they mean,
As we dance in silence.

Of Age and Youth (1994)

The games of time
Will pass in rhymes
Their silent crimes
Concealed in mimes.

In motions slow
They take their tow
On all the glow
Of men in woe.

For age is threat
To those who fret
And those upset
May soon regret

When youth has flown
And vigor gone
You'll greet the dawn
With age so known.

So while you're young
Be wise and strong
Don't take so long
With nonsense wrong.

Be gay, be light,
Be all that's bright
Conquer and fight
With all your might.
