Other Tips On Driving Some Vehicles
If you are driving, make sure that you do not go beyond the speed limit.
Do not drink alcoholic beverages, like beer if you are the designated driver. Always follow the traffic rules of the place where you drive.
If you suddenly feel dizzy or drowsy, park somewhere safe to take a nap or until you snap out of your sleepiness.
Always, check your engine on a regular basis before taking it for a drive. Make sure that you know how to change tires and have a spare tire ready to change a flat tire. It is also better if you know basic repairing of the vehicle that you are using.
Don't take medications that can cause you to be dizzy or drowsy in case you are driving, or if you are driving long distances. Stimulants like pure black coffee with some sugar can keep you awake for longer hours.
Put your gear on neutral, in case your breaks don't work. This will help stop the engine. This should be done during an emergency or if the breaks don't work and you need to stop, or if you are stuck in traffic.
Check your lights and make sure that they are lit up on your journey, especially at night or in darkness.
