October Goodbyes

I woke up this morning
With a little heavy head.
Sipped some cool water
To ease the weight
Of the warm morning sun
Upon my senses.
As I sprinkled my face
With the liquid
From the water faucet.
I closed my eyes
To see colors collide
Between the lids of my eyes.
The crimson sunshine
Symphonically glows
Into the morning's greyness
To a bright new day.
