Sleeping Without the Pill and Entertaining Yourself At Home If You Are Retired or Working From Home

Meditative prayers, when you cannot sleep, can actually help you fall asleep. To make it work better, you can lie down on your bed, yoga mat, carpet, mattress or on the floor with a pillow and relax the senses by letting go of the stress. Seven to eight (7 to 8) hours of sleep can help you regenerate the energy that you need for the next day's work.

A little bit of stretching can help the body relax and help the blood in the muscle circulate. Relax when you can to keep the body healthy and well. It is also important to eat even just a little bit of food to have some energy to do the next day's work.

Limit the amount of coffee that you drink during the day. Coffee is a stimulant that can keep you awake the entire day. If you cannot sleep because of too much coffee, try drinking some milk mixed with some warm water to neutralise the amount of coffee taken within the day. Hopefully, this will make you fall asleep.

If you are retired and confined in your retirement home,  it is best to do some housework that you love doing. And perhaps cook the meals you love to eat and celebrate your accomplishments if you wish. Call your friends if you cannot see them in person if you want to or send them a letter if you want to. Enjoy the company you have in the home and perhaps help each other with the tasks that you want to be done together.

If you have some company at home this is also a good time to learn from each other. Either it is cooking or writing, this is a good time to learn a new skill if you wish. You can turn your home into a workshop if it is possible. However, make sure that you are complying with your community regulations, otherwise, you might get into trouble.

Have a lovely Thursday.
