To keep your skin healthy we have some tips that might help you care for your skin, that can help avoid infection that can leave scars and create punctures on your skin.
Wash with either an anti-bacterial soap or a regular skin soap that you use regularly. This will help remove the dirt on your skin and help it be washed with fresh water from the tap or faucet. Gently apply the skin soap to your body either with a soap bar or liquid soap. Rub your hands against the skin and gently try to remove the residue of the soap by showering with warm water or cool water. Do this during seasons when the temperature where you are is very hot. Washing or bathing in warm or cool water can also help relax your skin pores and your muscles and give you a refreshed feeling.
Wash your head with a gentle shampoo for people that will help your scalp be rid of oils, dirt, and possible dandruff. Put a small amount (about the size of 25 cents or 5 cents) of your regular shampoo on the palm of your hands. Work your hands and fingers with shampoo onto your hair and scalp. Try to rub the scalp with the shampoo by gently rubbing or working your fingers from the forehead going down the back of your head. If you have sensitive skin, start with the lower part of your hair and rub the shampoo starting with the ends of your long hair. Then, rinse or wash away the hair and shampoo with clean water.
Always wash wounds from cuts with an anti-bacterial soap or your regular soap to prevent it from becoming infected further and cause an unsightly scar. If there is no water and soap available where you got a cut, reach for alcohol and a badge for first aid. Then, once you get to the place where you wash with soap and do further cleansing of the wound, immediately wash and clean the wound and apply necessary medication if needed.
