What To Do When You Have A Sore Gum or Tooth
Sore gums or tooth can be avoided by brushing your teeth regularly, avoiding cold and sugary drinks. If you have tooth fillings, try not to have them replaced because the process can only weaken the broken part of the tooth, making it weaker and make them potentially break. Once they are broken you'd have to wear dentures or 'pustiso' in Filipino. These dentures have to be cleaned regularly as well to avoid gum infection and bacterial infection in your throat. A throat infection can cause digestive problems or make bacteria grow in your internal organs.
If you already have sore gums, putting a small dose of White flower Oil on the gum where it hurts could make the problem go away. Simply rub a bit of the oil on the part that hurts. Do not crack ice with your teeth because they can make them weaker. Drink some milk to have some calcium in your body which can make the teeth and bones strong.
If the tooth has developed puss and has become infected, you eventually need to have them removed to prevent the other teeth from becoming infected and destroying all your teeth. Once you have your new teeth or dentures, you need to clean them regularly to avoid them from becoming a source of infection and bacterial growth. Bacteria coming from the mouth can go to your throat and potentially cause problems to your heart as well.
It is recommended that you brush your teeth once you wake up, gargle with warm water and drink warm water to get rid of the toxins that have accumulated in your mouth at night. Do this before eating or having breakfast.
Be careful of what you eat as well because some food can cause your teeth to break as well. Hard food can make your teeth break like chewing ice with your teeth. Sugary drinks can also cause your teeth to become weaker as well as hard candies with a lot of sugar. Chewing gums in moderation can help the muscles of the jaw work out but do not swallow the gum, spit it out because it is filled with sugar that can cause problems to your health. However, gums are the lesser evil if you want to keep your mouth smelling good or wanting to munch on something. Too much of them, however, can also cause your teeth to become infected with bacteria, potentially hurt or become weaker.
Have a lovely day or night.
