good night to you my dear
i am about to sleep
my head is heavy of some cloud
that landed on it this afternoon
my heart is heavy of the feeling
that we are far apart
my spirit is weak
like it would break apart
why is this so you ask
because we are apart
because i'm here alone
and you are not with me
and so i sleep tonight
on my bed as summer nights turn cold
