Good Morning

good morning to you
are you awake
the sun is up and high above the clouds
the birds are chirping with happiness
in the break of the morning sunshine
have you had breakfast
have you eaten
the coffee on the table is cold
the bread is becoming crisp
do you want some cheese or butter
what do you prefer for today?
did you get up just fine or not?
why what did you dream about?
my morning isn't that good
because you are not here with me
as usual, you are not here with me
that's why i'm here alone again
the whole day would be miserable
i do not know what to do
but tinker with the pc
and let time pass by watching tv
maybe the pain that love brings will be quenched
by little things we do
the day will pass
without you with me
i hope you are happy wherever you are
that way even just one of us is happy
