Losing a job that we love and have worked hard for for quite some time can be devastating for some people. A little research is going to help you if you are eyeing a prospective job that you feel you want to get in to. However, with your experience, skills and some research, you still might be able to land a job that you like or want to do. The research will help you see the industry or niche that you want to get into with a little bit more information that you may need to do the job well and prepare for it.

Facebook also has its own job bulletins where you can find jobs within your town, province or region. You simply have to be patient in looking for the legit jobs that offer the benefits that you are looking for. You can also search for a job or jobs that will help you use the skills that you already have and perhaps help you gain new skills and experiences that may be useful for you in the long run or future. 

You may also go to your local PESO  or Philippine Employment Information System (in the Philippines) if you want to look for jobs offered in your locality. If you want to find a job close to home you can go to the nearest office of PEIS or PESO and there search and apply for the job that you prefer. Bring a printed resume for the officer in charge, or the recruiting agency. Ask the municipal officers in your municipal hall where the office of the PESO is to find the list of jobs in your locality and file your application. Or, you can apply to their email addresses which are usually found on their local PESO Facebook page. Simply search for the Facebook page of the PESO and your municipality name and you just might find their email address there. There might be some jobs posted there as well, where you can apply and send your resume through email.

Search for home-based online jobs which you can do at the comforts of your home. There are various online jobs that you can do from the comforts of your home without having to commute to work to get the job done. Simply search for these jobs on the internet or online, apply and complete the requirements that the employer would want you to complete. Some of these jobs may either come as part-time, full-time or contractual jobs. Be patient and the job that you are looking for might just be a few clicks away from your home laptop or desktop.

Losing a job may sometimes be difficult, especially if it is the only means that help you support your family and serves as your livelihood.
