Other things that you can do to relax the senses is to listen to soothing electronic made music, sounds of soft tones or acoustic sounds that will relieve some of the pains that you may be feeling or enjoy quiet surroundings after being exposed to too much noise from machinery if you work with machines. Try to do this every night as you retire to bed. Lay down on a cushion or mattress if there is one available. If there is none, a yoga mat, or carpet can help. And perhaps a pillow that will help rest your tired head.
If you feel that you want to ease the senses, you can either take a warm or cool bath or shower. Most of the time, a warm bath can be soothing for older people because it helps the muscles relax. This is also recommended for young people who really are having muscle aches. The warm water helps soothe the muscles. Or, you can have a steam bath if there is one in your area. You can also soak in a tub if your muscles really feel sore. Some people prefer cool water and some prefer warm. It really depends on what your body is accustomed to. A soothing bath is good to rinse the dirt from the day's work and make your body feel good before you retire to bed. If there's no bathtub, a quick 5-minute shower of warm or cool water can help soothe a headache or an early morning hang-over.
Do some light stretching once you wake up in the morning before getting back to work to wake up the body and make the blood circulate properly. Drink warm freshwater to flush the toxins out that you have taken in from the previous day and eat your breakfast to have the energy to work for the new day. If possible have a break within the mid-day and eat your lunch to do the chores and tasks that you need to do, especially if you need to do extremely difficult physical and mental work at the same time.
In order for you to rewire the brain or regenerate healthy brain neurons get some sleep. But if you cannot do it naturally, like if you are having insomnia, take some sleeping pills if you cannot do it naturally. Reduce the amount of pill that you take if you feel that you are still sleepy during the day at work. However, some doctors do not recommend altering sleeping states because they say it can damage the natural sleeping pattern or circadian rhythm. Some, on the other hand, make their patients take the medications regularly to help them wake up on time for work in the place where they are at.
If your work requires little or no physical activity at all, you should limit the amount of food intake, because it can cause you to gain too much weight which may prevent you to move swiftly as you wish. Most old people gain weight when they age because they are usually confined to their seats and have little physical activity. But if this can cause them to become fat or develop high blood pressure if they do not make any movement at all. It can also cause serious heart problems if they keep consuming too many acidic beverages like coffee, soft drinks, some forms of liquor, sour drinks and drinks which are too sweet.
If you are still young and have become overweight because of little or no physical activity at all, but do a lot of brainwork, it is recommended that you have a break as well. This is recommended in order for you to compose your thoughts better and make better decisions as you work. Keeping your mental state healthy is necessary if you want to do the things that you are supposed to and to make good decisions and provide the right to solutions that you need for a business, problem or proper ways to do certain tasks.
Sleep, relaxation and making new happy memories with the people you love is also an inspiring way to keep you doing the things that you are tasked to do. Inspiration sometimes helps make things possible. This is the reason why some people are driven to reach their goals because they are inspired to do so. They accomplish monumental things that we thought were not even possible because of the inspiration they get from their families, friends, relatives and other loved ones.
Value the time we have here and now, because every moment counts and every one of us is essential, vital, important and indispensable. Each has a part in the world and no one has the right to take that away from us. We are all human beings entitled to live, despite our differences, we should value each other as much as we can because you do not know what that other person that you have taken for granted has to offer to you. And once he, she or they are gone, you will only have your regrets with you. Or, be left with the guilty feeling that you let that person go or die in your hands.
Warriors on the other hand have a different take on this because they call it a duty that they have to do to protect their brood and their comrades. But remember, all of us are just humans and no one should take another person's life because of some joke, language difference or a simple task that has not been done yet. Perhaps you just need to wait and communicate well before rushing into a killing spree that will not resolve the matter anyway.
In the long run, it will become more difficult or worsen the problem when there are fewer people to do the hard work that needs to be done. The next thing you know, if you kill all the people around, you are alone, old and weak to do the things that need to be done (for your benefit, your family's benefit or your team's benefit and your friends' benefit) without getting the help that you need. Before taking arms against what you consider as enemies, think it over and the consequences of your actions. Ask yourself if these actions will be beneficial in the long run or simply be not worth it at all. We do have all our part to do but make better decisions, than faulty ones that could potentially only hurt your family, loved ones, your relatives, friends and associates.
Our actions should help us fulfil our dreams, but we should also think about the people who are around us, the things that they have put in and their contribution to making them come true. Otherwise, you will lose them, and perhaps end up with bigger headaches or problems. Be more patient. Patience will eventually get you to where you want to be eventually. And once that happens, you will reap the treasures that you want, the joy that you dream of, the love that you hope to have and maybe a family that you dream of. Or, the riches that you intend to have. Dreams may come true if you remember the path towards them. And that will lead you to the riches that you have always been dreaming of. For others, riches are not material things, it is the people they meet along the way and the lessons they have learned. But there are people who do not see the effort put in by their comrades or co-workers and this causes strain to relationships. If madness strikes, take time to relax, rest and perhaps come up with better solutions than rushing with ideas that are simply not possible or not beneficial in the long run.
Take good care of your body and health to keep you going. But also, remember that you got to where you are now, because of generations of peoples who have brought you to the islands or continents where you are now. The theory of relativity is real, we are made from the intermarriages of various peoples from various lands all over the world, so treasure the big family that we have all over the world and not hurt each other anymore. Because there are only thousands or millions, several have died. I'm pretty sure that you do not want the animals all over the earth to dominate us. Do you? If you do and decide to exterminate the rest of humanity, you would have to deal with them alone and take care of them by yourself or fight them by yourself. And, perhaps, eventually, they might get to you feast on you.
Be on adventures with your friends, relatives or family because the world is a huge place and can be treacherous at times when you least expect it. That is why it is important to have friends, relatives, family, loved ones and co-workers.
