What Old Wives Say When It Rains

(Photo: courtesy of Pixabay)

The heavens of the earth are crying,
Our ancestors' spirits are roaming,
Guarding our havens to nourish them,
For our fields to overflow with water,
For our crops in our farms to grow and thrive,
For the heavens to let out its cry,
For the lands to be nourished,
And for a bountiful harvest.
For food to be on our tables,
For children and families to have their meals,
For the world to enjoy the fruits, grains and crops of the farmlands.
And later for the world to have peace as we slumber.

This poem means that the fuel that we use for our cars and other forms of vehicles come from the earth. We get oil from the earth and this is a component of the fuel aside from gasoline that we use to make the engines of the machines work. Oil and gasoline are composed of fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are usually made of carbon and hydrogen from decomposed plants and animals.  It fuels engines and makes gases evaporate up to the skies. And then, once it has created nimbus clouds, water flows down in the form of rain.

Have a fantastic evening.
