If you decide to visit Singapore, you can see the sights of some interesting architectural and engineering masterpieces. 

See The Esplanade. The Esplanade is a performing art centre in Singapore. The best view of the building is from the outdoors. According to locals, its design is based on the durian fruit usually grown in Southeast Asia. 

See the Marina Bay Sands. The Marina Bay Sands is one of Singapore's luxurious hotels which you can also view from downtown Singapore. It is in the heart of the city and it has the largest rooftop infinity pool.

See the monument of the Merlion. The Merlion monument can also be found in the business district and office district of Singapore. It is by the river as seen in the images above.

See the Singapore Flyer. The Singapore Flyer is the Singaporean version of the Eye in London. 

Visit Universal Studios if the children want some amusement with the rides and shows in the theme park. 

Dine at local food shops or restaurants. Food shops can be found all over the city. There are also restaurants in malls, cafes and bread shops where people can go to eat and dine. Prices of the food sold in shops vary according to the location of the shop, or the area where it is located.

Shop for souvenirs, if you please. There are several small and big shops all over the city where you can buy candies, chocolates and souvenir items for the people back home in case you are looking for small gifts or things that you want to bring back to them. There are souvenir shops near Scott's road where you can buy refrigerator magnets, keychains, shirts, watches, chocolates and more.

Go to the various temples or places of worship all over town. There are various places of worship for various kinds of religions all over the city. You have an option to visit them if you want to see places of worship. 

Visit Gardens by the Bay. Gardens by the Bay is a place where you can see various kinds of plants, shrubs and trees inside an air-conditioned greenhouse-like enclosure. 

If you have more time you can also visit Sentosa island where you can enjoy the amusement facilities they have for children and old visitors alike. You can take the cable car going to Sentosa island. You can view the aquarium and the show of the Songs of the Sea here as well.

You can go from one place to another in Singapore by train, bus, taxi or Grab. If you decide to take the train, prepare for some walking and be watchful of the stops for your destinations. Make sure that you are taking the right train because you can get lost if you don't. Taking a Grab ride is most convenient for people who have difficulty walking because these rides can pick you up where you exactly are and drop you off where you exactly want to be dropped off. \

Singapore is a small country and you can tour around the city in a short amount of time. However, if you want to visit famous landmarks, stay for a few days to see these places.
