Some Things That You Can Do If You Visit Macao or Macau

The Venitian

The Ruins - Ruins of St. Paul, Macau

Sheraton Grand Macao

Visiting Macao can be one of the things that you might want to do if you want to see some interesting architecture as well.

They have the Venetian Hotel which has luxurious rooms, restaurants that features various Asian cuisine and it is connected to shops of expensive brands. If you don't have a lot of money to splurge on these expensive things, you can simply view them from the store windows.  The Venitian also has its own casino like the Sheraton Grand Macao, which is across the street from it.

You can also visit the City of Dreams which is a few blocks away from the Venetian and Sheraton Grand Macao. Here there are shops where you can go shopping if you like and restaurants where you can eat and dine as well. It also seems like a modern museum which you can visit and enjoy the view of some artistic creations like what they have in the shops by the Venetian.

You can also visit the Ruins of St. Paul's by taking a free bus ride from the City of Dreams bus bay. You simply have to wait for the ride and hitch a ride to the Ruins. The bus will drop you off, a few blocks away from the ruins and you need to do some walking to get there. At the ruins area, you can find small souvenir shops where you can buy various kinds of souvenir items if you want to. Their bus back to the City of Dreams can be found a few blocks away from the Ruins, where you were dropped off. You have to wait for the right bus to get back. The ride back is also usually free.

If you intend to go to Hong Kong, you can take the ride to the pier by bus and book a ferry ride going to Hong Kong. The ferry rides are best when it is not rainy. The ride can be a little bit uneasy if there is a typhoon and sometimes they even cancel travels when the typhoon or storms are very dangerous for ferry rides.

Macau and Hong Kong are busy cities, so prepare for crowds and traffic on your journey.

Have a lovely or wonderful day or night.
